A lot of people watch series for the cone. This plot can take many forms, but this time, it took that of Jensen Ackles, actor who played Dean Winchester in Supernatural, or Soldier Boy in The Boys. A definite motivation, but the scenario of the series (the real one) was also intriguing: a main character, mysterious and solitary, who uses his talents as trackers to find missing people. All wrapped up in drama, love, suspense, action and humor. What more could you ask for?

A series that manages to stand out

Usually, crime and drama TV series are substantially similar, which is not surprising since there is a guideline to follow. Yet, despite the constraints of these genres, Tracker has managed to stand out by offering a world that is different from what is possible to often see .

In addition to the plot, the directing of Tracker is well worked. Everything is calculated so that the viewer is completely immersed in the series. For example, the soundtrack that brings extra elements to the story or the different unique shots make the difference. Fans experience all the events through Colter's eyes. Indeed, fans are not omniscient. They can only have the information that Colter has. Another element that makes the series stand out is the depth of the characters. Each character has a particular story that can be closely linked to other's.

The protagonists are authentic, which makes it easy for viewers to feel close to them. They have flaws, qualities, traumas, problems and dreams. This is for example the case of Russell, Colter's brother, viewers had the opportunity to meet in the last episodes of season 1. Despite some grey areas in his story, Russel has been able to charm viewers in a very short time thanks to these characteristics. It's no wonder that fans are excited to see him again in the next season.

What are the expectations for season 2?

The renewal of the series in the middle of the first season says a lot about the success of the latter. Initially scheduled for the end of 2025, it will be on October 13, 2024 that the series will finally return to the screens. Good news for fans, even if they deplore the departure of Robin Weigert. The directors prepared for this departure by making Reenie quit her job as a lawyer. In season 2, the latter will be Velma Bruin's partner and she will help Colter in a more concrete way. A collaboration, which will be interesting to see according to Justin Hartley. This will not be the only striking thing to see in the new season since Tracker will rely more in the mystery that revolves around Colter's family. Not only will it be possible to learn a little more about Dory and Russell Shaw, but also about Colter's mother.

The show's lead actor noted in an interview that "There's more story to tell with that box and the case, all that, all those bombs that she dropped in the finale. The writers created a lot of opportunities to dive back into Colter's past and and figure out all that rich character stuff." Season one, lays the foundation for season two, with a lot of mystery.

With all the elements given by the actors of Tracker, it is clear that season 2 will be sensational!
